ABOUT

Meet Kristine Niven, EAS in education founder

I have worked at two independent schools both in marketing and events and currently as an Executive Assistant to an Associate Principal at St Margaret's Berwick Grammar.  With a decade of experience within the education industry and business accreditation from Deakin University, I intimately understand the unique education environment and am passionate about open communication, engaging and supporting others in the community.

As an Education EA, I have a deep understanding of the role and what it takes.

I truly love getting to know people and their stories - gaining a sense of what motivates, inspires and drives them. This allows us to build strong working and personal relationships with a diverse range of people, within the school environment and beyond. There is positive energy in schools when we work together with students at the heart of our work, guiding them to be better people. This is optimistic work, seeing people as they can be tomorrow rather than who they are today, and it takes support from those around us. As an EA working in a school, I believe every conversation and interaction is valuable, and we can help to create this optimistic environment - a place of learning, connection and belonging.

  • “Working as an EA /PA in Education can be isolating. Not many people understand what your day consists of and how you spend your time. Kristine has acknowledged this lack of connection and understanding.”

  • “This group is there when you need it. You don't have to engage on a daily basis. But just having that support to check in during busy times and ask “How are we, team?” Having that check in is vital.” – quote from our first Lunch and Learn event”

  • “EAs in Education is a wonderful platform for EAs and PAs to connect, learn, laugh and support each other. I look forward to the next amazing event that Kris has planned.”
